Victoria Peak

Victoria Peak is one of the main tourist attractions in Hong Kong. The peak is 406 metres above sea level. There, you can get a glimpse of the whole Victoria harbour, Kowloon side and Hong Kong Island. The night view is extremely famous for its beauty and colour, and it is a very good spot for sightseeing as well as pictures. There are two malls on the peak: the Peak Tower and the Peak Galleria. Many resturants and shops are there as well. There are several parks, picnic sites and also pagodas(which includes the famous Lao Chen Ting) if you go further around the peak. You can also visit the museum, divided into 15 sections, which shows you Hong Kong in the 19th to 20th century. Most important is the Madame Tussauds' Wax Museum, where you can meet and greet famous people all over the world, and you can also make a wax figure of your hand!

You can hike up the peak along several different ways, as the peak is connected to the Hong Kong Island Trail. Or you can take the taxi, minibus and bus to the Peak Bus Terminus, but I recommend you to take the tram, which is also an attraction. The tram stops at 4 different places along the Mid-Levels.
